Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we do with information when you use senseswap.io. It does not cover the independent swap providers that execute swaps — they have their own privacy policies, and their practices apply to the swap they perform.

We do not require an account, and we do not ask you for identity documents. What we process is limited to running and securing the Service:

• Server logs. When you use the Service, our server records technical data needed to operate and protect it, including your IP address, the time of the request, the route you requested, and error details. We use the IP address for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
• Swap data. The assets, amount, deposit address, and receiving and refund addresses involved in a swap, and the provider’s status for it. We need this to create the swap and to show you its progress.
• Order history on your device. The order ids you create are saved in your browser’s local storage so you can find them later. That list stays on your device; we do not sync it to our servers.
• Support messages. If you contact us, we keep your message and your contact details so we can reply.

• No tracking or advertising cookies.
• No third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
• No wallet connection, seed phrase, or private keys.
• No government identifiers or identity documents from you. Providers may run their own checks; that happens under their policies, not ours.

• To create your swap and show its status.
• To fetch and display quotes for the pair you choose.
• To keep the Service secure, rate-limited, and available.
• To debug problems and improve the Service.
• To comply with law and to respond to you.

Where a legal basis is required for processing, we rely on: performance of our contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service; compliance with legal obligations; and, where applicable, your consent.

• Swap providers, as needed to create and settle the swap you asked for.
• Infrastructure providers, such as hosting and database services, that process data on our behalf.
• Authorities, where the law requires it.

We do not sell your information.

We do not set tracking cookies. We use your browser’s local storage only to remember the order ids you create, so your order history survives a page reload. Clearing your site data removes it.

We keep server logs and order records only for as long as we need them for operations, security, and legal obligations, and then delete or aggregate them. Order history kept in your browser stays until you clear it.

Our servers and providers may be located outside your country, so your information may be processed there. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for those transfers.

We use reasonable technical measures to protect information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and rate limiting. No system is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for the security of your own devices and wallets.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact us at [contact email]. We may need to verify your request. Some of what we hold is pseudonymous — an IP address or an order id — which can limit what we are able to do.

The Service is for adults who can enter a binding contract. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy. Material changes will update the date at the top of this page.
